Now when I reached Blognix at The Custard Factory, I met up with the lovely Yasmin from Yazzys Corner. I already knew she was going so it was nice to put a face to her blog! Once we went in, I signed in and received my goodie bag!
At 10am the event started, Elizabeth Seller is the founder of Blognix and runs her own blog called Rosalilium. I have been following her blog for a while now, before I even started blogging and it was really nice to see her in person as she is such a lovely person and absolutely beautiful inside and out. She welcomed everyone and then through out the day there were various talks and workshops.
Here is a list of speakers and the topics they discussed.
- Kim Lawler - Beyond Advertising: Kick Ass Ways to Profit from Your Blog – Kim Lawler Creative
- Emma Cossey - The Truth About Freelancing – The Freelance Lifestyle
- Rosie Slosek - Why Cake is the Key Tool for Your Tax Return – One Man Band Accounting
- Sam and Lea - Pump Up The Volume: How to tell a story with your voice – The High Tea Cast
- Lucy Heath - Finding Happiness in Everyday: Photography workshop – Capture by Lucy
- Cathy Presland - How To Monetise Your Blog With a Book – The Big Book Project
- Hayley Carr - How to Negotiate Brand Collaborations – London Beauty Queen
- Hayley Constantine - Disclosure: Not a dirty word – Bonjour Blogger
- Elizabeth Sellers - Brand Like You Mean It: Actionable steps to building a strong brand – Rosalilium
- Ahmed Ahmed - How to boost your blog with an offline event – Dine Birmingham
- Justice Williams MBE - Passion, Purpose and Profit: How something you love can make you an entrepreneur - City and Style Magazine
We were provided with a free lunch and loads of cake which were baked by bloggers and then a winner was picked at the end.
I met loads of lovely bloggers throughout this event and it was just nice to be able to go to an event which I knew I would enjoy from the start! It was also nice that you could talk about the blogging world with people who were actually interested in the same topic as well.
I would definitely recommend everyone to attend the next one as there are many things which I have learnt and hopefully will be putting it to action on my blog.
Let me know if you also attended as I would love to check your blog out!
It was such a great day! Shame I wasn't keen on the food though! :)

It was a great day - I learnt so much! Now I have to put all my new knowledge to action on my blog. Hopefully, I'll be able to go again next year and learn even more. I stayed at Bloc Hotel too, it was a great choice I thought.
