Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit Review

If you have read any of my previous reviews you will know I love Anastasia products. Still up to today I am using the Anastasia powdered contour kit as well as the Dipbrow Pomade. Those two products have been my holy grail since last year and I have used them daily.

I ordered the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour from Anastasia's website. As I am from the UK the delivery took nearly 2 weeks only because customs had stopped the product from being delivered and I had to pay £18 to release the item. I've heard loads of people who didn't have to pay any custom charges so I guess I was one of the unlikely ones!

They have 3 different contour kits, Light, Medium and Deep. I ordered the 'Medium' kit which consists of 6 shades.

Starting from top; left to right -
Banana, Cream, Warm Coral, Nude, Cinamon and Chocolate.

The product itself is very creamy, it glides on like a cream however when you blend it out it goes on like a powder. It has a smooth texture however a dry feeling. The quality of the product is good however for the premium price your paying I would of liked a small mirror or atleast not in a cardboard box! I guess that's just me being picky!

Would I recommend this?

Hmm..I would recommend this product because it is pigmented and does its job, however as I have dry skin I do find this product to be too drying for me and makes my under eye go cakey. I must say I do prefer the powder contour kit over this without a doubt!

Would I repurchase?

I would only because I love the dark contour shades. It makes my contour intense and I go over it with the powder palette. The light banana colour is just not for me which is a shame as I love the powdered version of this colour.

I hope you have enjoyed this review and don't forget to leave a comment to let me know how you like this product.

  2. I've always been intrigued by Anastasia's products, but because they aren't as readily available in the UK have avoided them. I like the look of this, but I think I'd get the powder version if I do treat myself because I also have dry skin. Xx

  3. Hi,
I wanted to share my pain and buyer beware. I ordered from Anastasia from theUk and their website said shipped from Europe VAT included. £28 extra now paid to FedEx this has been very expensive. I asked Anastasia for an explanation, no customer service was evident and neither an explanation or apology recieved. Beware buying as it may cost you a lot!
    Jo,
