A little bit of shopping at Sephora and Cult Beauty

Am I the only one who has to take a picture before I dig into any of my products? C'mon guys admit it so I don't feel like a freak! I have been dying to use these products for the last a few days but I knew I had to take a picture first. I have always had this habit, however since I have started blogging it has become pretty extreme. Before I could take a picture with my Iphone and then I would Instagram it and boom I could use my product. Now though I know I have to use a DSLR for good quality pictures and also make sure the lightening is good before I take it which delays the process of me being able to use the items. How do I overcome this?!

Anyhow, lets get started!

In Paris of course I had to pop into Sephora! However like I said in my other post I didn't really buy much as I didn't know what to buy as it was just so overwhelming! However there were a few products which I did want back here in the UK so I thought it was the perfect time to purchase the items on my wish list.

Makeup Forever HD Powder

I have been wanting this powder for a while and it is hard to get hold of in the UK. I did want to also purchase the Makeup Forever HD Foundation along side this as I have heard raving reviews about it but the girl on the counter tried like 4 different colours on me but she couldn't find a suitable match! So I ended up only with this.

So far, I really like the consistency and it really gives a smooth application. I would only use this though to dust it over my face very lightly as I can imagine it leaving a white cast if photographed with a flash.

Ombre Blackstar by Terry in Misty Rock

After watching Tanya Burr's Florida vlogging video where she wears this on its own and it looks absolutely fab I knew I had to purchase it one day! I never wear eye shadows on a daily wear unless it is a special occasion. I tend to just use my eyeliner and mascara and my eyes are ready to go! I would love to wear eye shadows but its just too much hassle for every day as I like using loads of colours to blend it all out etc. So since Tanya Burr mentioned she used this on her eye lids on its own I was like I need this! It is perfect for me! The colour is beautiful and on its own it is fine there is no need to add a crease or transition colour! Exactly what I wanted. I am looking forward to using this and I can see it being one of my go to eye shadows!

MAC Lipstick - Lady Danger

I never thought I would say this, but lately I have been loving orange lipsticks! I was not too keen on MUA Velvet lip lacquer in Atomic when I first brought it as it was a bright orange however over the last a few weeks I have gone from 'not too keen' to 'loving it'! Lady Danger is a gorgeous bright dark orange lipstick which I kept picking up and swatching every time I visited a MAC store/counter. I knew I had to get it this time as summer is approaching and this is the perfect time I will be able to get some wear out of it. I have always loved bold bright lipsticks. I think a bright lipstick always brightens up your face even without trying and this definitely does that!

Now I have been on the waiting list waiting for Cult Beauty to send me an email to say Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade is back in stock! Before it went out of stock I had the perfect opportunity to purchase it but I kept making up excuses in my head so I would avoid purchasing it. Then before I knew it, it was out of stock! Now after what felt like a life time I finally received the email, so I did not wait any longer and went straight away online to order and I am so glad I did!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade - Chocolate

Dipbrow Pomade is a eyebrow gel. I normally use an eyebrow pencil however I always find that they don't last as long as I want it to, also the one I use smudges a lot so I end up with brown patches on my forehead! Not very appealing! I have heard many great things about Dipbrow Pomade and I know many top artists use and recommend this so I am looking forward to it. I brought it in the colour chocolate because I have dyed brown hair with blonde highlights and I tend to bleach my eyebrows to match my hair colour so chocolate seemed perfect for me.

That's it guys! My little shopping post to let you guys know what I have been purchasing lately!

Don't forget to leave me comments as I love reading what you guys have to say. Also let me know if you have tried any of these products and what your thoughts are!
